"My name is Thaddeus Ross, I am from Charlotte, North Carolina. I’m a music producer, songwriter, and DJ.
I met Special Ed during my Senior year of High School during a program for a business course I was taking. We spoke briefly about the history of Hip Hop as well as some of my favorite rap albums.
I had the chance to play some of my music for him and he heard the potential, however there were some things he advised that I improve on.
Because of our brief interaction, he became a mentor and inspired me to continue on my path as a producer and has provided words of wisdom within the last five years. I am appreciative of his guidance and his drive to help myself and others."

"Ed has been a great mentor, giving me advice on being an entrepreneur as an independent artist.
I've always appreciated him lending his ear to my new creations and giving me genuine insights. When I was unsure about my path, he not only kept me grounded, but also supported me and motivated throughout all the obstacles I faced."
Although we met at an uncertain time in my life, I feel like having a mentor helped keep me on the right track and inspired me to continue working towards my music career.

"I am proud to say that I am a established Independent artist and entrepreneur of my own Entertainment company "Certified Nation Entertainment LLC". This was all due to the mentorship of Special Ed.
Like many troubled Black youths, I had my trials and tribulations. I lost both of my parents at a young age, and left with only my music I ended up later making a wrong decision which landed me in prison for 6 years.
Upon release, I continued to push forward. After meeting Special Ed in 2015 everything took a turn for the better because Ed taught me the meaning of ownership and the mechanics of the industry. Through this mentorship, I was able to defy the odds and enlighten others through these teachings and leadership."
